Hi all,

i want to make a region fill pattern that is the same as the dot hatch in revit. (Evenly spaced dots)

I found this online, but I don't know where or how to create custom hatches in revit.

Okay so, after a figured out who to make these crazy things. I made two for your guys to use.

I don't know if there is a way to scale the region once it is in revit, like you can do in CAD, so I made two, one is half of the other.

ShinyOTS,

;%TYPE=DRAFTING

90, 0,0, 0,.25, 0.0,-.25

90, .125,.125, 0,.25, 0.0,-.25

ShinyOTS,

;%TYPE=DRAFTING

90, 0,0, 0,.125, 0.0,-.125

90, .0625,.0625, 0,.125, 0.0,-.125

You can scale while loading the pattern to Revit.

Be aware that "dots" will be converted on loading to very short lines consistent with Revit's minimum line length.

Zoom right in to gauge the effect.

Check that there are no leading spaces on lines within the.PAT file.
