Hello

After creating a new family (via metric structural framing) for creating some trusses and beams (wall top plate) for my project which work very well, for some reason I cannot change the surface colour. I have tried changing material properties (now changed to scot pine nice wood looking colour J), tried adding a material parameter again to scot pine but no luck. Followed the youtube videos etc, no matter what I do it doesn’t seem to allow me to change its grey (steel) looking surface.

Hoping someone can help.

Thanks

Craig

Your extrusion material is set to "by category' in the family.   Change that to your 'Strucural Material' or whatever material you want.
