I'm doing a little residential remodel for a friend and using the phasing/demo tools. I need to take the overhang off of an existing roof, and can't figure out how without demolishing the entire roof, or using the linework tool in sections where it shows up to turn the lines invisible, and then re-draw the rest. I was hoping the split tool would work. Any advice?
As always, thanks in advance.

I would think that you need to have two different roofs. I would create the roof portion to be demo'd as a separate roof, and edit the existing roof to match the demo line.
