Hello - I am in ned of help.

I am looking to purchase a new version of Revit and found this on line : http://rgyfpobmnrvlmwax.topusersoftware.com/product/autodesk-revit-2014/?sid=GSbsliJziowPyDWrfcMTzfvtndOYwFSV

I am not technically savvy and need to be sure I am purchasing the correct thing and if it will work with my current system...   This version seems too inexpensive/good to be true...  or it could be just a great deal for some reason...  not sure why...

I currently run 2010 with my Macbook pro and parallels and need to see if this version of Revit is a viable way to go (as I understand it, it's better to use boot camp instead of parallells using windows 7).

I also have an iMac which I do not currently have any Revit on but would like to get for it as well if possible.

Macbook Pro Information:

Itel core 2 duo

Processor speed 2.4 GHZ

1 processor

2 cores

L2 Cache 3MB

Bus Speed 1.07 GHz

Memory 8 GB

46.47 GB of memory free

Mac OSX Lion 10.7.5

Parallels 7 - Windows 7

iMac Information:

Intel core 2 duo

Processor speed 2.4 GHz

2 Cores

1 processor

L2 Cache 4

Memory 4GB

Bus Speed 800 MHz

250 GB of memory available

OSX Yosemite 10.10.3

Your help is greatly appreciated - THANK YOU!

i understand you can only buy an annual subscription for revit.

my core2 duo laptop wouldnt install revit 2014 as it didnt meet specs.

are you buying from an authorised dealer?

if so they should advise whether your laptop will be suitable.

beware out there.

Thank you Mansell5!

I am looking at buying from the "Software Store" on line.

I'll look into them further...
