I am trying to put in decorative joint lines to create a certain joint pattern on the concrete walls of a building that will also render. Model LInes only work in the 3d view, but don't render. I tried to put in a mortar joint, but it wouldn't work either. What do you suggest???

You could try to find or create an image file with the joint lines in it, but unless the joints are an exact distance apart on all faces of the building an almost hopeless task with Revit/Accurender.
A technique that does work is to use the model lines like you are currently doing, then render the image out. Then duplicate the view you rendered, set to hidden line and export to the the exact same pixel size you did the rendering at. In Photoshop or similar then "composite" the two images. You can play with layer transparency in photoshop to get some interesting effects between both images.

I like to use a wall reveal (or many wall reveals) to, say, show control joints in EIFS or drywall. Just make a new hosted profile family with the actual profile of the joint that would exist in the material, and load it into your project, and stick a wall reveal wherever you like. I don't think this will work for diagonal lines, but you'll have a choice of horizontal or vertical reveals. You could also do reveals integral to your wall type if they are consistently spaced.
