I have an issue with text scrambling on Revit 2015 LT since the 8.1 upgrade release. I have a decent desktop computer that is an ASUS with an i7, 16 gb RAM, and an Nvidia Geforce GTX 660 Ti. It isn't the best of the best but it works. I had no prior issues with either Revit 2015 LT when I had windows 8. I did the upgrade and all hell broke loose. Since then, I have had issues with text scrambling, which looks like multiple sentences piling up on one another rendering it unreadable and no matter what, you cannot fix it. It only does it on my computer. The same file read on office computers do not have this issue and of course they have Windows 7. Also when you zoom in at different heights, the zoom affects text placement. Clcik on it at a certain zoom height and close it and words will move to different spots. Another issue is that Revit and AutoCAD alike will pause for a moment and say it is "not responding" then after a short moment it appears again fine. I know this issue didn't happen prior to 8.1. I work remotely from another state so, I do not have the luxury to travel back and forth to the office.
The main text issue has occured on a sheet that is full of text, no graphics. From my understanding the sheet was imported in from AutoCAD (same year release as Revit)
I thought that maybe it was a graphics acceleration issue but after turning that off, it doesn't help. I have asked tech support from the dealer who sold Revit to the company and never gotten back to me on the issue.
Could anyone suggest what may be the issue at hand? There is no help on the web for this issue. I would truly appreciate anyone's help. Thank you in advance!
