Is it possible to show parts in a view and see the structural deck profile applied to a floor in any version of Revit? The project I am currently working on is 2013 and it does not seem to be possible. I would have thought one would be most likely to want to view a deck profile and parts at the same time in a detail view. For a general view (where I would not necessarily show parts), I am not really bothered about seeing the deck profile.

Alternatively, is there any way of controlling the parts visibility on a by object or by category basis (i.e. walls display as parts, while floors display original)? Or is this a wishlist item?

Found a workaround for the latter option by creating three filters for the three original parts categories (walls, roof and floor), but this still falls short of the ideal, because I cannot control/see the shape of the parts of the floor and see the structural deck at the same time.
