I've been trying to do this for awhile. Ive tried the base railing edit type window, but the "type" dropdown in the "top rail" section only gives me the options of "none" or "top rail type". I guess what Im asking is how do I change the properties (and profile) of the "top rail type" that is in the dropdown?

Hover to top rail, press tab until top rail is selected, unpin, then in properties press edit type. You can find your loaded profile there. If anybody find it useful, reply.

Everything u can do in propeeries.
it will tell u which profile it used.
then search for that name in project browser.
than make it save as, and create new profile, then load to project.
then u will have option to select it
