Does anyone know why I can't delete a fill pattern type? I have no idea where the type came from or why I can't delete it. I attached an image of it.

Could this be assigned to a material that is assigned in a family?

I hope not because I have no idea how I would find it. But even if it was that is the only pattern that I can't erase so there's something weird going on. I take that back, that one and the Solid fill patternt can't be erased. I wonder if it has something to do with the solid fill??

Looks like I spoke to soon. It lets me select it to purge it out but when I go back into it it never removes it. Stuck yet again.

Teafoe, could that really be your solid fill? ...or is it a solid fill from a family created in another laguage and it is their solid fill?
I think I have seen that before and it came in by way of a family - probably from RC.

or is it a solid fill from a family created in another laguage and it is their solid fill- I believe you are correct and that is what it is. Still would be nice to remove it. I have a question into CGS to hopefully they can shine some light on it also.

The (free) HatchKit Add-In for Revit displays a list of fill patterns present in the current project and flags any fills currently unassigned to Filled Regions.
Those unassigned to Filled Regions, excluding the SOLID fill, may be deleted from the project wih the Add-in.
