Hi guys,
I'm on Revit 2015, and am modelling a building with a multitude of curtain-walls; where the vertical mullions are spaced evenly, but I need to have the horizontal mullions spaced at various set distances from each other. The only way I know how to do this is to unpin the curtain grid line and move it to the desired position. With probably 70 curtain-walls to draw, this method is extremely time-consuming, and if I try to pin the new curtain grid positioning; the grids snap back top their original pre-set positions.
My question is whether anyone has succeeded in somewhow creating a curtain-wall where the curtain grids can be pre-set to have differing heights instead of having the grid equally spaced; without having to individually move each curtain-grid?
Thanks a lot!

Have you tried copy?
All preset CW's can be problematic so we use them for placement but we switch them afterwards to a CW that has no-presets. Then everything can be altered and you can pin anything you need to.

Hi WWHub; once again you come to the rescue!
This might seem a stupid question, but how do I switch my CW to no-presets? Cannot find a thread that explains this concept.
Thanks again!

In our template, we have some preset CW's with spacing V & H and mullion types but we also have one that has nothing set.... no spacings and no mullions. When we click on a CW that was preset, we can then change it to the type that has nothing. Revit warns you that type generated gridlines will become non-associated or you can delete them. Don't delete the grids! Now you can modify everything.
