I accidentially deleted a level. Now I want that level back so I've tried remaking the level but Revit will not allow me to use the same name because it says that it still exists. I've tried the "select all instances" drop down command after selecting an existing level but this does not bring out the deleted level.

If Revit says it still exists, then it does.
In order for a level to be seen in elevation or section, it must cut the view plane. Do a zoom E with no view cropping and see if the level is off to the side out of the normal view. You may have to switch other views to find it but it is there. When you find it, drag the 3D end back into your view area.

Thanks, I've been using this as a template for a while. There were a few lost layers to be deleted.
