I am looking to make what I think is a generic tag. I want to be able to add a number tag to my drawings to coordinate with notes that I have written about the floor plan.
EX: On my legend I have note 1. Primary exit = 68/.2 = 340 occupant load
Then on my plan I want to have a leader with the number one in a box at the end.
How do I create this and how do I insert it into my drawing?
I tried to create a generic tag and load it into the project but I can't seem to access it after I load it. I have even gone to the symbol button in the annotate tab and it isn't listed under there either.
Please help!

This sounds to me like keynotes. You can read about those in your HELP.
