hi all. i'm using Revit 2015, and i have a question. how can i make a grid bubble have 3d text that can be rotated and show up in a 3d view?

Grids do not show in 3D.

As WWHub said, standard Revit grids are not a 3D element. BUT you can make a family that you manually place (line based) that can show up in 3D. Depends on how you're going to use it, but you can read this old blog post for starters:

This is horizontal, not vertical, but gives you a starting point! The family download is pretty clean too so you can use it right away.

Thank HKicsak,

this is a great work around to use for my spool drawing 3d maps. i will definately be using it. the only thing that i wish(but not needed is that the numbers could be standing up. other than that, it is perfect.
