Am working with Revit 2015
I downloaded the Varco-Pruden Vee Rib metal wall panel from Autodesk Seek. It is an .rvt file. See the attached the .rvt file.
The panel elements in the file are placed in a model group- and I don't know how to work with them. Looked for a txt file that
might tell me how to work with this on Seek & the mfg's site but found none. I tried to drag & drop the elements into my file
(worked with a Berringer wall panel I used) and suceeded in crashing my Revit file.
I copied the VP .rvt file & ungrouped the elements- managed to change the colors/gages of the 3d element with inside & outside corners, managed to manipulate the elelvation of the base & length/height of panel- but 1) how do I get this into my revit file & 2) attach the panels it to
my model walls (mainframe structure with girts)? 3) there is also a 3D sweep with the actual panel profile & don't know how to use it (am concerned will be too dark as lots of vertical lines- but would like to know how to work with these elements.
Sorry so long winded- would appreciate any and all assistance with this .rvt file.
Thank you!

You can open the file up side by side with your file then simply tab select one of the 'walls' to copy/paste into your project.
This doesn't appear to be very sophisticated. The wall panel materials do not have any associated image file for rendering so they are only a color. They give you a vee-ribe profile that they used as a vertical sweep but believe me - YOU DON'T WANT TO DO THIS IN YOUR PROJECT! It would be OK for a detail area but don't create your walls with this.

WWHub-
Thank you for looking at this- I appreciate your help. What I wasn't doing was opening another session Revit so I could
have the files side by side. I looked at the profile & figured it would not be the thing to use on the actual building- too many lines
and the building would be black. I do appreciate your help with this.

You don't want another session of Revit, they must both be opened in the same session!
On the Autodesk SEEK site, VP has seperate image files to use for your materials.
