I am putting this here in case anyone else runs into this issue.

I created/edited several custom hatch patterns for rated walls. I then loaded them all into the template and into a project. Everything seemed to be working perfectly. However, later I noticed that one of the patterns wasn't showing correctly. Rather than being a series of 45 degree slanted lines, it was showing as a solid fill. Strangely enough, the issue went away when in thin lines mode. So thin lines = correct pattern, and normal mode = incorrect pattern. I had no clue what the deal was.

I tried several things to no avail. Then I decided to check the other patterns and look for any discrepancy. The only one I found was the alignment of the pattern. All the patterns that worked correctly were aligned with element. The incorrect one was align to view. Once I changed this setting, all was working well again. Align to element is what I wanted anyway, not sure how I missed one of them.

Hopefully this helps someone avoid an hour or two of frustration.
