I've been working on a project lately and trying to do exactly the same as the attached image.

May you guide me what to use for the:

1) Finishing Material &

2) How and what type of lighting shall i use to have the same effect in night rendering?

I needed something similar on a job I'm on. I ended up using glass with a white opaque finish. I had to fanny about with the translucency to get it right. I used self illumination on the material.
