I have units grouped including walls and millwork in kitchen, when I place an elevation it shows the whole group not the view from the range I've placed (you see elements behind it, as if it were a whole) , never encountered this situation before, is there a work around that doesn't make me ungroup ?
Thanks

I believe your problem is your casegoods. You obviously built this family and set it to the wrong category. Revit has cuttable and non cuttable families listed here. When a few intersects any portion of a non-cuttable family (including invisible lines in the family), then the whole family is shown.
Fix your family. BTW - There are very good casework families in your library.
