Hello all. Working on some mass modeling for conceptual energy analysis. I understand that the more zones the mass is broken in to the more accurate the model. This is fine and makes sense to me. Two questions about this though:
- For stair towers should mass floors be added for each level or just the lowest full level?
- For an elevator mass I cannot find a space type for elevator, just "elevator lobby". I know that an elevator is an energy intensive item so I would think that its important to have a specific space type for that, no? Any thoughts on what kind of space type this should be?
Thanks in advance for any advice.
Best,
-Drew
