So I add a new door to an existing wall. but in this instance it also creates a infill wall, as if there is a demo'd door and wall fill there. its just a (E) wall and (N) Door. :-(
I cant figure this out for the life of me. please help.
Thanks
Michael

Is it happening with this door family only, in every wall or just this one? What is happening if you insert a different door/window family in that wall?
I think you could have two wall instances in the same spot, or your door family doesn’t have a wall opening object in it, therefore it is unable to cut the wall.
