Hi I'm a new revit user, using revit 2015. Can anyone tell me how I schedule two or more floor finishes in the same room. Basically I've set up a room tag which includes the floor finish category on the properties tab is there a way I can add one or more and assign an area within my schedule? Sorry if I'm being a bit vague.

You are the one using rooms to do this - so your only answer is rooms (if you want an area).
We often split the finish surface of floors (or add a thin floor) to show different materials. That material can be tagged and the material area can be scheduled but not by room.
