Hi All,
I am making a double curtain panel door, and no matter what i do, i can't get the panels to be EQ size when i import it into my project. It seems to work fine in the family, just not in the project.
It is really frustrating me.
I am using Revit 2015.
PLEASE HELP!
Thanks,
Kristian

First, you don't set the door panel by type. This function is controlled by the grid spacing in your project curtain wall.
That being said, I believe there is something really wrong here. I just tried 2014 and 2012 and in both versions, creating a door with a sigle extrusion on one side does not work. It does not go to the center.
I have not seen any other comments about this. I recommend that you start with one of the stock double CW doors and modify that. In the meantime - we need to contact Autodesk.

Thanks for your reply.
When you say "you dont set the door panel by type" can you elaborate please?
What i have done is to creat a new curtain wall. I then swapped out the curtain panel with the curtain door panel i created (attached to the original post).
This all works fine until this point. The issue is that the doors are not of an equal size. one leaf is bigger than the other.

In plan, on an equal, full leaf door, you need only two primary dimension here.... the Width and the equal equal.... CW doors will fill the opening and the width and the Width parameter will come into your schedule.
We have modified our door schedule so that the door width is calculated as half the Width if the door is set as a double door. Still have problems with un-equal width leafs.

Just came across this issue as well (using 2014 because of server incompatibility with new license manager). I was finally able to get it to work by unchecking the EQ for the template dim (could not delete it). Unpinned the "Center (Left/Right)" reference plane, then created a new EQ/EQ dim to constrain the center ref. plane between the 'Left' and 'Right' ref. planes. The double door now appears with equal leafs in the project environment, and I can change the width of the panel without it breaking, or giving me unequal leafs.

Thanks bpfahler.
I'll try it out when i get the chance. Haven't been using this door for a while, but good to know that it can be fixed.
Cheers,
K
