I have drawn up some interior elevations, but want to make the boundaries darker - anyone know if this is a setting somewhere? I was thinking maybe the Crop Boundary could be made darker...
also, can there be irregular boundaries?

when you say boundaries darker, do you mean the line weight around your elevation? use the pen tool with a heavy line weight.
and no you can't have irregular boundaries just yet

I just posted the same question and I just got my answer with a little fiddling and a hint from a friend. Select the boundary box. right click and select Override Graphics In View (by category) change the line weight to a higher value. BAMM - your boundary box is now a fat line for interior elevations!! Anyone know how to make this change permanent to either all projects as a system setting or at least to Interior elevation views?

yes you can in 2008 just don't forget to un-check the "Hide Crop boundaries" in your printer settings...

Unfortunately, you have to do this for each interiro elevation. There is no global object settings for a crop boundary. You need to select each views boundary - right click and select Override Graphics In View (by object - sorry I errored in my earlier explaination). Then select a higher line weight. You need to do this for every interiro elevation view which is a pain. This ONLY works for a regular rectangular room. if your room outline is irregular, you will need to create a masking region for the room perimeter.
