Hi all,

I am trying to create a room tag that uses shared yes/no parameters to control the visibility of the labels.

I have created the shared parameters in the parameter file, but i cant load them into the family, as in I cant assign them to any labels. The options are always greyed out.

Am i doing something wrong, or is this not a possibility?

I'm using Revit 2015.

Let me elaborate further.

The room tag is set up with about 7 labels which each control different elements, such as name, area, occupancy, etc.

I want to swap out the current Occupancy parameter (which is not a shared parameter) with one that is a shared parameter.

Further to this, if at all possible, i want to make the shared parameter instance based. I have the same Occupancy parameter in the project parameters as well to link to.

I am having some similar issues with room tag shared parameters as well, anyone else have experience with this?

Savidge,   Ask a complete question with specifics.

Kirstian's question said here tag's occupancy was not a shared parameter.  That can not be true since only shared parameters can be included in tags.   << So that can't be your problem either.
