I have created demolition plans and elevations for a residential project, but the dashed lines representing demolished elements are not dark enough. Detail lines that I've added with the <<Demolished>> line style are nice and heavy, though, so it's not a problem there. Is there a way to control this setting?
Also, can the automatic wall infilling be controlled? I'd like to take out a door and leave the opening. I've just added a new opening, but that seems odd...

You can adjust the lineweight and type of the lines for demolition as well as new construction and existing building in the Phasing window (Settings Menu > Phases). Then on the Graphic Overrides tab you can adjust any of the 4 types listed. Also verify that your phose filter uses the correct graphic override (Phase filter tab of the same window). Finally make sure that you are using the correct phase filter on the view (view properties > phase filter).
As for leaving an opening in place of a door I have not yet found a way to do so without placing a new opening in its place.

Well, maybe that wasn't totally it... changing the setting worked in plan views, but for some reason didn't change demolished elements in elevation.
About the opening, I put a new opening in, and made surre it was created in the Existing phase... this keeps it off the door schedule, anyway...

I am having the similar problem of the demolished elements showing as solid lines in ELEVATION. I have had to mask this region and add another dashed line over it in elevations. Any suggestion as to how to modify line style / object style for demolished doors and windows in elevation? Is this at all related to the family properties? thanks for your help.

I need to amend my previous post - it is not the element that is deleted that is the problem, it is the cut line of the wall that is a solid line. I want the wall cutline to be dashed.
