i have a project with all my floor plan already in sheets (24x36), lets say floor 1 on sheet 101 floor 2 on sheet 102 etc… i have also section 1 and 2 that cuts all the floors so it appears on each floor sheet, but the section is called on sheet 200. I had to do a revision of  a little part of all the floor on a smaller sheet (8x11) so I duplicated (dependent) view of each floor that a call on sheet (8x11) that I call  CR01, CR02 etc… since my section 1 and 2 also appears in those new duplicated view, and are called in new sheet CR01, CR02, the section title in the original sheet 200 ( 1/200 and 2/200) change automaticly to 1/CR01 and 2/CR02, how can it stay 1/200 and  2/200

how to avoid it..

I can't follow your question - too confusing.

I think you need a better understanding of dependent views.

I believe this thread will point you in the direction you need to take: (There is no need to do an overlay)

i'll try again,,,,

i have a floor plan with all my detail and annotations showed on it. (pdf 1)

i have multiple section on it too, and particully 2,  the 1/S202 and 2/S202 the are displayed on sheet S202 (pdf 2)

i had to do an instruction on a smaller sheet so i duplicated my floor plan (dependent) and crop it a little (pdf 3)

i put that dependent new view on a smaller sheet which is call INS-09_CR-01 (pdf 4)

since tha, now those 2 sections that where displayed on S202, are not named 1/S202 and 2/S202 anymore they changed to 1/INS-09_CR-01 and 2/INS-09_CR-01...

how can i let be named as they were before... ???

This is because you are using dependent views!

Please read the thread I posted.  You are doing this so you can create a small sheet for Revisions ... correct.  I outline a much easier and better process then using dependent views.  << They are a nightmare for this....   PLEASE READ THE OTHER THREAD and try it out.  We have been using that process for nearly 8 years and it works great!

I had forgotten that Revit changed in 2013 and the overlay titleblock family in that AUGI thread I point to no longer works.  The problem is in the nested filled rgion.   I am adding a new response in this thread that has an edited family that does work.  I removed the original family name but I don't take any credit for developing this process.
