When you create mass in place you have the option to make xray, add profile, add edge?

How can you make that available when creating family?

What is xray?

You can load and use profiles in families.

You can use edges of elements in families to create sweeps.

You need to spend some time with the Families Guide which is available on the autodesk site.

Yeah I need to get my family skills.

But please can you answer my question. The X-ray option, Add edge and Add profile, that you see when you build in-place mass, are these options ever available in the Family?

No. These options are available in the massing environment only.
