Hi all, at the moment I'm working on a project with a lot of parking, and most of them are oriented wrongly, so I should flip them. I'm using mirror pick axes for this purpose. But it's kind of anoyoing to have to klick on Copy box, to disable it from makeing copies.
so my question IS THERE A WAY TO SET KEYBOARD SHORTCUT TO TOGGLE THIS COPY OPTION?
Thank you anyhow.
Oh I'm using Revit 2015.

Learn to use the tools that Revit gives you. In the case of the parking spaces, you will see two flippers available when you place the space. Use the correct one of those flippers.
Or maybe you just need to hit your spacebar as you hoover over your plan. The element will rotate at 90 degree intervals or will lock with angled elements.
And if you have placed the space, when you right click on it, you will also see flip options.

Hi i just had the same issue as you, and maddeningly, these two users gave some pretty generic and useless answers. So i checked through more places for an answer.
I'm glad to share that the answer is very easy and very simple!
I'm also using Revit 2015, and what you do to "deselect" the copy option while mirroring/offsetting/moving/etc. is you just hold down the CTRL key BEFORE you select the line to mirror on, but AFTER you have made your selection of what to copy/mirror/etc.
I hope this helps!!

I've just come to Revit myself and found this issue. Thank you for a simple and unpatronising answer.
It really gets my goat when experienced Revit users tell people to use Revit properly, but this is exactly what we're coming to the forums to do.

I'm glad that my comment could be of help to someone. It grinds my gears as well when people are ignorant and not giving the effort to answer a specific question with a specific answer. "Here are the keyboard shortcuts" is incredibly unhelpful. "Learn to use the tools that Revit gives you" is also condescending and ignorant to the question that was specifically asked by shija. And I agree, I always come to these forums to find better, more efficient ways to use Revit the way it was designed to. With so many features, we need helpful people to point out where to go sometimes.

Thank you this is a great trick. I have tried this with the copy command and didn't quite work. Is there something you have come across to toggle between multiple and single copy?
