We are working in Revit 2015. We are working from the Revit Server/Revit Accelerator platform, and currently have multiple users syncing to the same central files with no issues. But one of our files is causing us problems. I will describe the problem and the steps I've taken to try to remedy the issue.
When User #1 has the file open (Creating a local file from the Revit Server central file), they can save and sync to central with no problems. As soon as User #2 opens the file (Creating a local file from the Revit Server central file) and syncs to the central file, User #1 can no longer save and sync to central. It produces an unrecoverable error and won't allow the syncing to occur. If User #1 then opens a new local model from the Revit Server central file, User #2 can no longer save and sync to central. It produces the same error and won't allow the sync. So effectively, only one user can work on the model at any time, and at that, only one machine at a time.
I have taken the following steps to try and remedy this issue to no avail. Each of these steps were taken in the Open dialog from the Revit session. Our Revit Server connection is enabled at all times and we have no problems with any other central files located on the Revit Server so I don't think it's a server connection issue.
1. Detach from central. Discard worksets and save new model. Purge model. Open model with Auditing -> Unrecoverable error
2. Detach from central. Discard worksets and save new model. Purge model. Enable worksets again to resave to Revit Server -> Unrecoverable error
3. Open current central model with Auditing -> Unrecoverable error4. Open current local model with Auditing -> Unrecoverable error
5. Creating a brand new model from a new template. Linking the existing Detached and Purged model into the new model. Binding the model link -> Unrecoverable errorAnyone have any light to shed on this issue?
Because outside of sending the file to Autodesk for review and diagnostics, I have no idea what to do.

Some factors to address:
1. Where are your users? If the data is transferring over a long distance then you must ensure the internet speed is very good. If the remote users have slow internet it makes a big difference and can cause syncing errors.
2. Ideally you need to manage the Revit model more efficiently. Try to remove as many linked elements as possible as everytime a new user opens the model, all link information has to transfer and this can cause crashes. Remove all DWGS. Remove all Revit links and images.
3. Clean down the model to remove all extranneous dwgs ( Ideate Explorer is good)
