I'm trying to model a Curtain Wall that has slats behind the glass. I'm hoping I can model the slats as mullions so that I can control them accordingly in lieu of curtain panels where the would be included. I modeled these elements using a profile that does not penetrate the center front/back reference plane so it doesn't trim the curtain panel. For the most part this works, but the mullion still divides the curtain panel. I don't want these edges to appear in any of my views, and I don't want to have to manage lineweights for the dozens of edges that would result. Does anyone have any suggestions for managing this? Thanks.

Use two curtain walls in the same place.  One has only these items but no glass and no verticals.

I was afraid of that. Gets a little messy with the vertical mullions wanting to be the supports for both the glass and the slats. But then again that is the design and the only alternative I guess is modelling them as a curtain panels. Thanks Mr. 'Hub!
