So I want to slide one portion of a room out of the envelope. I split the long exterior wall, then select the split portion and move it. It drags everything, including the portion of wall I split off. Ctrl-Z. Unjoin Geometry doesn't do anything. It seems my only option is to delete the wall I'm trying to drag or copy it and trim both (if I've already got windows, etc. embedded). I run into this often. Is there any way to un-join an object from those around it? This method seems inefficient.
Thanks in advance...
Jeff
