I have a fascia trim that sticks out of the bottom of the soffit see image. Can someone please explain how to trim a sweep? This seems so simple its stupid.

In 3D view select fascia -> modify mitering (ribbon) -> horizontal -> click on the highlighted edge (vertical edge in this case).
