I have been adjusting line weights by element and category but when I print (using Bluebeam) the line become dashed.  The reason I am doing this is because I used a structural slab instead of a floor for the slab on grade and they are two different weights (it was my first job). I am using R15.

You do not have to do what you are doing.   VG treats all floors the same. 

 

Maybe you have a filter applied that changes this. 

 

The only difference between Structural vs architectural is a simple switch in properties of the floor.  The view's discipline also affects what is shown in a view.

Changing the discipline to architectural or coordination remedies the problem, and so does clicking off hidden line in the properties window.  The question still is why is it doing this.  It makes no sense.
