Well, first post here on the forum... I hope this is the correct section. I'm running Revit 2015 & Windows 8.
I searched the forums and found a few threads where people's sheets had disappeared but all the solutions for those instances did not apply to my situation.
I was working on adding schedules and indexes and all my sheets disappeared. I closed revit without saving, and they all came back. An hour or so later I was adding more schedules and Rvit prompted me to save. So I saved. Then it prompted me to sync w/ the central file, so I synced. Then a minute later I looked down, and ALL of my sheets, were gone again. Only the cover sheet was left in the project browser. Closed Revit, opened again, still gone. I tried all of the suggestions I found here on the forum and none of them work/apply.
I tried adding a new sheet with the number of a sheet I knew I had previously, and it let me create the sheet... meaning they are not just hidden somewhere (otherwise it wouldnt have let me create a duplicate sheet).
So my options are 1. Find the correct back up file and use it, though, I'm not familiar with this process. But that is the best option. Or 2. Start over creating all my sheets. Which will not be any fun.
Aside from how to get them back, does anyone know what happened? Did I accidentally find a magic shortcut key that deletes sheets? Surely that's NOT an option within Revit. I really would like to know what happened so I can make sure I don't do it again.
Thanks for all the help.

Update...
I was able to get pretty much all of my work back from rolling back from a backup file.
But I would still like to know if anyone else has had this issue where their Sheets have all been mysteriously deleted.

If you are working in a central file you better check with other people that are working on the project that they are not deleting things.

I'm the only one working on it. So unless someone intentionally opened the central model and deleted my sheets, it has to be something that happened to my local file before syncing.
But I did consider that as an option. Was hoping no one here in our office was that devious.

Have you installed your updates?
This comment "....all my sheets disappeared. I closed revit without saving, and they all came back...." indicates a problem at your machine. When you re-opened and the sheets were back, did you do so from your local or from the central?
