my view cube has changed view, it has moved over to far right, beneath my project browser, so now in have to close my project browser to use it, how do i move it back to original position.

Are you sure your browser is properly docked? It could just float there covering everything behind it. Could you upload a screen shot?

My view cube has always been under the top right because that IS the default position. Look here under options:
Oh ...and my browser is on the left - std location.
