How do you go about creating a custom hatch pattern like the following without using hatch editor plugin?
It's a tile pattern. The tile is 12" x 24" and I would like to stagger the course on 1/4 interval (shifting 6").

How to create a hatch pattern is explained in revit pat file (revit.pat) located C:\Program Files\Autodesk\your revit version\Data
Save the following code in the Notepad as a .pat file and import to revit.
*12”x24” with 6” shift running bond
;%TYPE=MODEL
0, 0,0, 0,12
90, 0,0, 0,24, 12, -12
90, 6,12, 0,24, 12, -12
