Does anyone know how to make the latest version of Revit the default program in Windows 8.1? I have both Revit 2015 and 2014 installed. If I double click any Revit file, my computer chooses 2014 to open it. If I hadn't uninstalled Revit 2013, it would be choosing that as the default program. It's done this with each new version of Revit and it drives me crazy!

Keep in mind that Revit is not a backward compatible program.
You should change your way of openning the drawings, never open the Revit drawings through Windows Explorer folders/files.
Always open the proper Revit version first, then open the drawings from the program.
If you want to work on 2015 version, and opened a drawing done in 2014 accidentally, it will give you a chance to close that drawing without save it, otherwise it will make other people in your office work on 2014 unable to open it.
The thread below might give you more ideas.
