Hi everyone!
I have question regarding wall wraping at wall ends in Revit 2013
As you can see in the images I´m joining two diferent wall types, and in plan view they look ok.
The problem is that in the 3D view the white wall should wrap a bit so that the end face is visible on the side but for some reason it doesen´t.
The thing is that I need this to look ok also on 3d because we are rendering with 3dsmax.
In other more visible corners I create a splitface and just add that wall end but thats labor intensive and every time I edit a window or anything related to the wall the splitface disappairs.
Thank´s a lot!

Is that truely a wall end or is there an opening there?
Check into editing the wall join to butt.

or turn off join and set the exterior face to wrap.

HI! Thanks for such a fast reply.
I think I didnt made myself clear last time.
Maybe the plan view is confusing but those are two walls joined at 90 degrees, nothing special about them but the fact that they are two different wall types with different layers.
They are joined correctly in plan view (almost) so it´s not a joining problem. The problem is with how that joint is displayed in 3d.
What in plan is displayed correctly as a butt joint in 3d is displayed as a miiter joint.
I´ve done a quick photoshop of what I get and what I should get on the 3d view.
Is that the only way Revit does the joints on 3d or there is something I can do to make it look right.
Thaks agan!!

Two things I would try if it were me (but as a disclaimer I might do things the hard way). I would try to Create Parts with the wall. Then each of the wall elements/layers become separate and the end of your wall (Precast) might start to show up. Make sure your view is set to "show parts". Another thing I might try is to make your single wall into two separate walls. In a sense making something similar to if you were to create parts. Maybe you make your precast its own wall type. I just found out yesterday if you join parallel walls with the Join Geometry tool, doors and windows cut through both walls regardless of which one is hosting the door or window.

I think the parts is too much work for the results.
If the layer priority is set correctly in th wall types, then the plan will correctly show the layers as mine does in the attached. The problem is the brick doesn't show on the end in my scheme. The fix is to split the face and paint the finish on that end. Easy fix and fixes the elevations and 3D.
