  Very new to Revit & was watching a tutorial in preparation for a class & I accidentally brought in the building pad diagram (from ribbon) into my floorplan view. I couldn't get rid of it & closed out of Revit- but now when I go to open my trial version of Revit- the startup page does't come up. I must have done something to make this happen- but don't know what I did. I still have the trial version of Revit 2015 in my download folder- can I uninstall the trial version I now have loaded & reinstall the Revit 2015 program without hurting my 30 day trial? Or is there a "fix" for bringing back the startup page?

 I appreciate any help I can get- I really need to maximize my time using this trial version (only have 18 days left as lost some days already with a sign-in issue).

The 'Recent Files' page is listed under the View > User Interface. You can turn it on there. You can also enable / disable it on startup in the REVIT Options dialog box under User Interface.
