Hi All,

Can any one tell me how a roof based Vertical chimney place on slope(Piched) roof with opening, I have tried many times on pitched roof it became tilt.

Note: Chimney should be vertical on Piched roof as well as flat roof with opening.

The family needs to be built correctly to handle a pitched roof.   This one has obviously not been built that way.

In the family editor change the settings under family categories and parameters to 'always vertical'.

Hi,

Can you tell me, I want to place an object on pitched roof but the half part of the object is going inside of the roof, here what I want that the bottom part of the object should be 200 mm above of any kind of the pitched roof. (see the image windcatcher-1).

The object is going good with flat roof.

You need to edit the family and either adjust the geometry so that it works or add parametric controls so that you can adjust it in the project.
