I am a student learning Revit (2015) and am witnessing some very strange behaviour when trying to edit a mass in place (which was created as a in place mass in the project initially). Basically, the object disappears when in editing mode. When I click out of it again, there it is in the project. I've checked my visablity setting throughly and searched the internet about the issue to no avail. What exactly am I witnessing and how can I fix it?
I know massing in place is not always a best practice and I'm wondering if that has something to do with it. Also, I have a copy of the mass elsewhere in the project and I'm wondering if that has something to do with it, but then why would it just disappear in editing mode? Thanks in advance.

Select your model filter your mass, then edit in place then reset temporary hide/isolate , I think then you can select your mass and edit
