Hi,

I am using Revit 2015 and need to get the area off the walls from each room separately. Is the good and more appropriate way to do it than drawing a wall, thean another wall for example gypsum as a cover for each room?

Anna

No easy way to do this with Revit.   Use the room dimensions.

if you have subscription. you can try ROOMBOOK EXTENSIONS

it will give you an EXCEL compatible schedule of rooms and its internal surface area of walls (less the opening), floors etc.

and im sure there are alot of alternatives out there..
