I have one room that I'm trying to render and nothing I do will render it without the ceiling turning out black. All other materials seems to be working fine...it's just the ceiling that will not illuminate. Here are some things I've tried to fix it:
- check to make sure material will illuminate (the assigned material works fine in other views)
- make sure the light isn't being cut by the ceiling (this is a surface mounted light that works in other views)
- create a view template from a working rendering and apply to this view
- change ceiling type to one I know that works, still no luck
- check that rendering settings are "interior: sun and artificial" and that grouped lights are turned on
- check to make sure light is not blocked by component in family (again, these lights work fine in other views)
- change light source definition
- make sure "emit shape visible in rendering" is checked
- check to make sure ceiling is phased correctly
- ceiling is checked and there are no overrides in 'visibility graphics'
I've attached the rendering for reference. I feel like I've tried everything...please help! Thanks!
