Anyone have a good way or family to model the 22" subduct exception for fire and smoke dampers? I want the subduct attached to the riser, but still showing the geometry inside the main shaft.
Any ideas like creating custom Tees, accessory etc.

I realize this is 4 years after your post, but I'd hate to see this go unanswered. I had the same question. Off the top of my head, I am considering modifying a takeoff family. Basically model the subduct beyond the tap into the shaft, then you're left with a takeoff outside the shaft to which you can connect duct work that empties into the shaft. You would need a round version and a rectangular version. I'm going to model it and see how it goes.
