I recently did this with one of our symbols from AutoCAD- a traffic light annotation for our site plans. I created a new generic annotation family, imported the autocad into that and converted all of the lines and hatches to Revit styles. Then I purged the family file- VERY IMPORTANT STEP- so I wouldn't bog down our Revit files. Finally I loaded that family into our project file. To place it go to Annotate: Symbol. HTH.

Using Revit2014, dragging the rest of the company with me from AutoCAD2008. When will the whining stop? |
