Hi there.
Recently just installed Revit 2015 onto our office computers & still currently using Windows 7.
I went to create a new family in Revit 2015 today and noticed some of the family template files which I use the most were missing.
Some of these included "door" & "window" family template files.
Not sure if maybe Revit was not installed properly? I haven't had any other issues with the software of things missing, etc. And 80% of the other family template files (which were also available in 2014) are still there.
Any thoughts on this?
Does Revit 2015 just not come with all the family template files ? Or is it worth me reinstalling the software.
Ps I have already tried searching for the files through Windows explorer on my computer with no luck.
Thanks in advance.

The libary is installed all together so I can't see how some are missing unless it is a bad install.

I'm not too sure why they aren't there either.
I checked our other office computers and they all have the template family files, it's just my computer that doesn't.
Might just have to resave the Revit 2014 family template files and upgrade them to 2015 to use in the meantime.

like you install everyone on a stand-a-lone basis. I think you will find this to be a bad idea. When in a network environment, you are better off to install a library accessible to everyone on the network. And by limiting write priveledges to this library, you can control to content to meet your standards.

At the moment we have a library on our server which is accessible from all the computers in the office.
All the families, annotation symbols, projects, etc are located on this server, however I am the only one in the office who creates the families, so it's really just my computer that requires the templates.
I ended up just copying over the 2014 template files into the 2015 folder and saving them in 2015 so they were the latest format. Might just keep an eye on any other standard revit files which are missing though as I found this to be really strange.
Thanks anyway for your help
