Hi there can someone please help me! I just downloaded Revit 2013 and now when i go to use it all of the tools are shaded and i cant click on them (all except a couple like components). How do i fix this? I thought maybe it had something to do with my lisence? Any help would be greatly appreciated!! (Im new to reivt!)

Make sure you have activated a view first.

If you just have a sheet view open Revit won't allow you to use tools such as wall, door, etc.

 

Once you have an active view open you should be able to access the toolbar instead of it being "shaded".
