We are documenting wall eelctrical outlets in a fitness center. The outlets occur above the cut plan, so they do not appear on the floor plan. Does anyone know a simple way (not plan region, as this requires too much management) to accomplish this?

Edit the family and have symbolic lines that can sit below the actual family.

If the outlet family has a vertical invisible line that is added to it that is long enough to be cut by your view cut plane, then the outlet will show. << I really don't like this process but it will work.
I don't understand why you don't want your view cut plane to be set hight enough to see these outlets. Think in reverse - add a large plan region to bring the rest of the view back down if you have to.
