Hi,
i have an issue, in my MEP model, i'm using a family that is built in generic model Template. (to represent wall opening...as the structure & architecture Models are Links, and acts as a guide for Structures to make openings in their model).
and i have a schedule, where all wall openings (Family, built in generic model template) are listed, the question is, that i want an additional parameter in the schedule, that lists the height of the opening, from the level it is placed on.
* is family that represents a wall opening in my MEP model built in wrong template?
* if so, what is the way forward or right family template?
right now im typing the height manually, i want to avoid. chance of human error. etc.etc.
any idea?

It could have been a door....look at the opening cased - door family. THen this could be filtered out of normal door schedules.
