Hi everyone, recently a manufacturer of seismic bracing stated that subcontractors are requesting BIM objects of his product. We went back and forth with a couple questions and speculations and we have no idea what a sub would do with a BIM object that represents a seismic bracing component.
Have any of you run into this in the past?
Any speculations as to what they would use that for?

I would assume they want to use it in section/detail drawings.
