Hi there, I am relatively new to revit and I am currently having some problems in Revit 2015 and more specifically this project I am working in. I had placed my first set of stairs within the project on the ground floor i.e. Level 0 but frustratingly, when I put a second set of stairs on level 0 I am prompted with a warning message saying "Cannot use work plane". Please see attached image for further details. I must note that I have no problem placing a second set of stairs on Level 1 i.e. First Floor. This is what I done and then offset the base offest to coincide with Level 0 datum level. This looks fine but i would rather know the problem causing this. My second issue occured when I tried to place a floor on Level 0 which I was prompted again the same warning message. What is making me unable to place anything on this plane?
My last issue is that when I select the snapshot on Level 0 the camera locks to the middle of the screen and completely dissociates from my cursor which has no control. Please seem image attached I must add the snapshot works fine on Level 1.
There is clearly a link between all these issues associated with Level 0 I can understand that, but the cause I am completely unaware of. Any help on this matter is greatly appreciated.

Did you try doing as the error says and change your workplane in that view to your Level 0?

Unfortunately I have no idea how to edit the work plane to suit Level 0. Can you provide me with some advice please?
